The St Mary's Sixth Form is a vibrant, supportive Learning Community with high standards and expectations in all aspects of academic and social behaviour.
This is underpinned by the school's mission statement, "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me." This demonstrates our commitment to developing well rounded, self-assured and well qualified individuals who are well prepared for the exciting challenges of young adulthood and careers beyond. 86% of students rate the skills, values and attitudes developed at St Mary’s needed to be successful in the workplace or university as good or excellent.
We recognise that every St Mary's Sixth Form student has unique, God given gifts of character and talent. We strive to ensure that Sixth Formers take the opportunities to develop these through the wealth of Sixth Form curricular and enrichment provision. These are offered within a structured, well-disciplined and well-resourced learning environment.

The Key Stage 5 team work closely with our colleagues in Key Stage 4 to ensure that the transition to the Sixth Form is smooth and informed. The team also work tirelessly with external candidates to ensure that they feel settled and comfortable in their new surroundings. This supports every child to achieve success and happiness in their studies. 88% of students consider the pastoral support provided by the sixth form team to be good or excellent.
