Uniform

From September 2023, there will be some changes to our school uniform.

All year groups will have their own specific coloured tie. The tie is navy with a coloured crest and has a clip attachment. The colours for each year group from September are as follows:-

Year 7 - Green

Year 8 - Yellow

Year 9 - Blue

Year 10 - Purple

Year 11 - White

The same colour crest tie is worn throughout your child's time at St Mary's, so a Year 7 starting in September will always wear a green crest tie, up to Year 11.

A high standard of appearance is expected.

Correct uniform is to be worn at all times. It encourages pride and reduces competition between students.

#NewtoYou Uniform Facility at St Mary’s:

We operate a school uniform #NewtoYou facility in school which is available to all of our families.  Parents/Carers can access the uniform shop during the school holidays.  If your child requires some uniform during the term time, their Head of Year will escort them to the uniform shop to see if we can help them out.

We are always happy to receive any good quality second hand uniform from families once their children are leaving St Mary’s for pastures new, this ensures that our #NewtoYou facility is stocked up throughout the school year to assist new families joining us.

Whilst donations for #NewtoYou uniform are welcome to aid our School Fund, they are not essential.
