Temporary Learning & Development Mentor
Support Staff Salary: Grade 4 (SCP 5)
Salary: £13,380pa Actual salary based on working 39 weeks per year
Hours: 30 hrs per week/ term time + 1 weeks
(Hours to be agreed between 8.00am and 4.00pm to meet the SEN needs of the school)
The Governors of St Mary’s Catholic High School are looking to appoint a dedicated and talented Learning Development Mentor who will support the learning needs of students who require assistance in accessing the curriculum or need additional challenge in order to extend their learning. Due to SEN funding, this is a one year fixed term contract , that will end on 31st August 2023.
You will work under the guidance of the SENCo to support high quality inclusive teaching and learning in the classroom and also any agreed programmes and interventions with individuals or groups as directed by the SENCo. A full CPD offer to further extend and develop your training is available. It is an exciting time to join the school as we look to further improve and enhance the provision for all or our students with a particular focus on ensuring SEND students thrive at St Mary’s.
